Hi, I’m Dave Glende and I’m the author of this website. I became a Christian in 1998 and having growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord ever since - sometimes quickly and sometimes very slowly - and of course am still a work in progress.

My wife, Katie, and I have been married since 1985 and have two awesome kids (actually “adults”) and (currently) three wonderful grandkids. Katie and I attend Metro Calvary Church in Roseville CA.

The purpose of this site is to proclaim the glory of God in all things. Over the years, I’ve been shepherded by pastors, bible study leaders, and other people in my life, all the while collecting various bits along the way. I thought it was time to begin to make these available for others in the hope that it would bless them in their walk.

Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.
